Blogger of the week - Ancient China by Zachery

Ancient China

So far this term in history  in we have been learning about Ancient China.
China 1027 BC was very different compared to Modern China in more ways than one, for example the ancient Chinese people believed than the world was created by a god that hatched out of  a giant egg. The top half of the egg became yang and the bottom half became yin. The ancient Chinese had a taste for weird food like ant eggs, baked owl, dear, dog and panther.

In Ancient China the clothing rules were strange. The emperor was the only one who could only wear a five clawed dragon, yellow and stars and moon on his clothing.

The struggle to survive was a tough one because peasants were in tough positions. They had to take care of their families while dealing with earthquakes and floods knocking over houses or killing relatives, but the bad thing is that if people didn’t have enough money they would sell their children or even worse turn to cannibalism (gross).
