How effective is the music in the ‘Karate Kid’? Discuss in reference to the final battle scene.
I agree that the music in the movie, ‘Karate Kid’ is effective. I think so because during the scenes of the movie that have music in it they tell the story, while making you feel like you’re in their shoes. It also sets the mood and shows proper emotion of characters.
The reason why I am for this argument is because in a lot of scenes it shows their emotion. And you would agree if you watched the scenes where Daniel and Ali are on their date and you can tell that they are happy because you can hear the happy, romantic and upbeat music in the background or in the final fight scene when the suspense is building up to the final round.
In parts of the ‘Karate Kid’ it makes you feel like you are in Daniel’s shoes, like when he is getting chased by Johnnie on the beach or even Mr Myagi when he fights Johnnie’s gang and him. All these scenes make you feel their emotions of anger and pain.
Lastly, the music in the movie, it shows the true feeling of the character. Even if a character is pulling a straight face but the music is telling you if they are happy, sad or excited.
The reasons I have provided are why I believe that the music in the ‘Karate Kid’ is effective.
