How effective is the music in the ‘Karate Kid’? Discuss in reference to the final fight scene.
By Olivia Neaves
The music in the Karate Kid is effective as shown in the final battle scene.
Firstly, the music in the final battle cuts out for a moment and there’s applause. This gives a huge effect and sets the scene.
Secondly, the music when used created emphasis on the parts important such as the crane used by Daniel, the main character.
Last of all, the music in the ‘Karate Kid’ especially in the final battle scene creates a tremendous amount of excitement and suspense.
In conclusion, I believe that the music in the ‘Karate Kid’ is very effective creating mood and emotion.

I believe that the music in the ‘Karate Kid’ is very effective. This is because of these following reasons.
‘Karate Kid’s’ music makes you feel like you are in the character’s shoes. Daniel was very frightened going into the fight and the music really helps you realise that feeling.
Also, the music also helps tell the story throughout the scene. As I said before, it sets a scene and also tells you how the character feels throughout the movie.
In conclusion, I really do think that the music in the final fight scene of the ‘Karate Kid’ is very effective because it sets a mood, puts you in the character’s shoes and also helps tell the story

The music in the ‘Karate Kid’ is effective and I will show you the reasons why, in the following paragraphs.
Firstly, it creates tension like when Daniel got kicked to the leg and was unable stand up on his own. It all went silent and created tension.
Secondly, it flows with the story like when the music “you’re the best” played you knew that it was a fight scene because it was rock music.
Next it creates emotion like when Daniel agreed to fight you could feel relief because you thought that he wouldn’t give up.
Finally, these are the reasons provided.
